Old Toys
Today was a good (but chilly) day. I watched part of Amelie and googled the rest... drank my fill of Lipton tea in the lab... and ate an egg tart at night. The custard part not that shiok though... a bit bland. Not rich enough. But I am easily satisfied so all's well. Soon I will embark on my egg-tart making mission... but not just yet.
While choosing the movie to watch today... Transformers popped up in my mind. I loved the cartoon last time.... after each segment they will show the Autobots sign or the Decepticon sign and then the next segment. My brother had many transformers. One of them was called HighBrow. HighBrow is a Headmaster.... don't ask me what that means. I do know however, that Mr. Highbrow lost his gun (or maybe I lost it for him) many times... and his helicopter blades broke (and were superglued back) too. No it's not that we abuse our toys.... but sometimes i dunno how to transform so anyhow bend. Oh yah and we used to time ourselves too... see who can transform the bot faster.
This penguin toy... hahahahaha... there's an interesting story behind it. My brother and I played this when we were super young lah... like maybe 4 or 5 years old, can't quite remember. It's not the most fun toy around. Basically after setting up the stairs and the track and inserting a battery, you press a switch and start watching the penguins climb up the stairs and slide down the tracks. Damn boring sia I mean there's like ZERO action involved. Zero action until I decided to add some. Well ok to make the toy more exciting, I decided not to let the penguins slide down the tracks.... so each time they almost reach the top, I pluck them off the stairs and put them at the bottom again. So shiok to watch them line up all over again to go up the stairs. *chuggachuggachugga* You think, ok lor whatever you want.... but my brother didn't think so! My brother is an animal lover and believes that all penguins should have the right to slide down the tracks. He was chairman of SPCP, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Penguins. *tadang*... now got conflict right. He wants to let the penguins climb up and slide down... I want to let the penguins climb up and then get plucked off the stairs before they can slide down. Hahahahha... so after tolerating my cruelty for some time... he could not take it any longer and started fighting with me. I pluck them off he puts them back at the top of the stairs. Fight fight fight.... and then violence occurs. I decide to extend my penguin cruelty towards humans... and so I bit him. hahahhaa... then he cried and complained to everyone until I kana.
Quite funny lah we were so violent last time. He tried to sharpen my finger with one of those made in china crocrodile shaped sharpeners. I stabbed his palm with a pencil. He tried to cut me with a pair of scissors.
Hahahahaha... ok enough for now.
