Back in Boston

Yah lor. After a very long flight... I am back. It is 2.40am now and I'm obviously jetlagged. Crazy man... for the past two days I have been sleeping at 9am and 4am (and have to force myself to lie in bed) and waking up about 5 hours later. Immediately after touching down at Logan Airport at 9pm on Wednesday, I ate 4 donuts (they are from Krispy Kreme... hot off the oven... but very unhealthy) and then went to play tennis from 10pm till 12 midnight. Haha... my life is so unhealthy huh.

Ok so... exciting exciting thing happened on Thursday, I played netball in Boston!!! My very first netball game in the United States of America. How cool is that (I think its very cool so don't tell me otherwise ok). I found a netball club that trains in Boston... they are made up of ladies from the Carribean countries, as well as an Aussie and a Kiwi. I have now officially lowered their average age! Hahaha... but some of them are very fast man. Anyway, there is ONE (UNO, SATU, JIT, YAT, ICHI, YI) netball court in the whole state of Massachusetts, and there are 6 teams in Massachusetts, so each team uses the court one day a week. But I don't care I don't care.... as long as I get my fix each week! Next week they're heading to New York for a tournament and if nothing goes wrong i.e. God gives me His permission... I'm going!

Oh man I just read the previous paragraph and I sound like a KID. But then everyone says when I am excited about sports I always sound like a kid. Speaking of sports, the new craze among the MIT singaporeans is... Tennis. We play almost every alternate day for like 3 hours each time, and at unearthly hours like from 10pm onwards. (I would want to say... it's cos we're so hardworking and studious that's why we can only enjoy ourselves at night.... but hahahaha that's rubbish lah.) We have an ongoing doubles war now and every 2 days we gather to slog it out again. Anyway I think more girls should come to MIT.... this place is devoid of girls, every time play sports must play with guys! But ok lah like that I confirm will get a harder workout.

I miss home. It's been 2 days and hmmph... I miss my family already. I think I have changed a lot over the past few years.... I have become very domesticated (don't laugh ok). It's true lah... nowadays I am so happy staying home reading newspaper folding laundry cooking dinner. Last time stay at home = torture. Ok lah but sometimes I flip to the other extreme.

Enough rambling. Question of the day -- What would you want to do on your 25th wedding anniversary?
