My very special Thanksgiving :)

A surprise drive on a rainy Wednesday night from Penn to Cornell.... actually I think I shall not attempt to do that anymore cos it was rather dangerous. Almost fell asleep, and I think I gave Charmaine quite a scare too :P But it was fun "appearing" in someone's dream in the middle of the night...

Thursday -- woke up at 12, lazed around, spent time talking to korkor, made Shepherd's Pie, had thanksgiving dinner with a group of new (and old) friends. Fish Curry, Pineapple Rice, Bai Zhan Ji, Herbal Soup, Shepherd's Pie, Haagen Daaz Icecream... yum yum.

Friday -- went for a full day of shopping with my brother in Carousel Center, Syracuse. It's been quite a while since I spent time alone with my brother, and it was felt really good. I'm such a family girl... just want to be happy with my family and loved ones. Anyway, I bought a puffer jacket for $30 bucks. It was originally $99, but was 50% off on Black Friday, plus 20% off for buying before 12 noon, plus 10% off for signing up for the store's credit card. My brother bought a snow board!! I felt very excited too... hehe, super cool lor!! Dark green board with silver bindings! I am going snowboarding man... not going to ski anymore!

I WANT!!! Posted by Hello

Saturday -- Well, got scolded today :( Tried to fix snow tires for the car but too ex to mount them, so didn't do it in the end. Went to Ithaca Bakery and got a nice choc cake for Joel's bday. In the evening went to watch Cornell Ice Hockey... exciting exciting! Not to mention violent... but the jeering was super funny man! After that, ran back home in the cold.... then went over to Tam's place to cut cake for Joel. Quite sad at night... cos felt quite confused about some stuff, and my small heart felt quite hurt.

Sunday -- Church in the morning... reminded me to be thankful for everything I have and not to always demand more. I gave thanks... for my family's safety, for the precious 4 days with my loved ones, for good health, for good grades, for a wonderful semester that I thought would be really miserable. I was so sad to leave in the evening... I hate partings. My mp3 was working much better today and I just listened to nice songs during the drive back. Didn't feel like talking... just really listened to the lyrics of the songs....
