I suddenly had this train of thoughts spouting out of my head. It all happened while I was standing in the hot shower... I think I should write them down before I forget.
1. Are independent people really independent or do they seem so because they actually don't have people to depend on?
2. My blogskin is from LOTR. When I watched the show I thought Frodo was such a loser and not cute and not cool. When I did an online survey some time ago about which LOTR character I was like, it said... "You are Frodo". How ironic. I am constantly thinking of how lousy I am and how I want to be like this and that and whatever....
3. Its going to be Valentine's Day. My Valentine is not here but I feel loved. And I really really think that on Valentine's Day we should all express our love for our families too. Not just your other half, but your parents and sibilings.
4. Why is it that I bother to start writing the BE lab report now when we are meeting on Saturday to write it? Why do I bother spending my time starting on a group project when no one else does?
5. Last time people used to write diaries and lock them up or hide them in a secret place cos they felt that diaries contained their innermost thoughts and therefore should not be shared with others. These days we write diaries and some people are happy that their diaries are read. I don't really want ppl to read mine... except for a few special people. But still... its amazing isn't it?
But I just hope the essence of the diary isn't lost. Its meant for writing about your true self and your darkest secrets. Hopefully people don't draw their masks here.
6. Its been a while since I wrote personal emails to people and I think its about time I started writing them. Friendships are precious and I really should make the effort to maintain them.
7. Why do Americans drink diet coke when they eat Big Macs with Fries?
8. Umbrellas in USA cost 20 bucks (US dollars), while in Singapore umbrellas cost 5 Singapore dollars. But it rains more often in Singapore than here. Shouldn't price increase when demand increases? Or is it an increasing returns to scale economy? Or are American umbrellas made of better quality? Or is competitive equilibrium causing the price to fall in Singapore?
9. In Singapore, rain makes the day cold. During winter time in Philadelphia, rain makes the day warmer.
